BANKSIA AVENUE RENOVATION

Renovate a two bedroom one bathroom Queenslander on a sloping block into a modern yet classical family home with a focus on family living and functionality with the inclusion of a pool and pool house and a level back yard.

Ryan McDonald Building PTY LTD completed this extensive renovation in Ashgrove in 2013. The existing home was a small home consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and was in a dilapidated condition. This home was located in "The Avenues" in Ashgrove which is demolition controlled, character precinct, therefore the streets cape was in no way to be compromised. The Fascade of the home was all that remained of the house although original features were replicated throughout to remain in keeping with the area. The home was raised and moved slightly to one side and the block was retained to allow for a level backyard. The home now consists of five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two offices plus a study nook, kitchen with butlers pantry, multiple living areas, library, deck with built in BBQ area and a Pool House/Guest House with a kitchenette and bathroom. This home is fitted with luxurious fittings and has a fabulous flowing floor plan.
